The beautiful world of yoga opened up to me in 1997 while travelling in Asia, and in particular Nepal, where I witnessed the manifestation of inner peace through the sadhus or holy men of Kathmandu. These amazingly calm individuals, holding yoga poses for extended periods of time in the heat no less, looked so serene, that I decided whatever they were experiencing, I wanted the same.
I took my first yoga class shortly after my return home, and like many practitioners I placed a lot of attention on the poses, but soon learned that yoga was much more than that. I believe yoga to be such a beautiful and spiritual practice by which we journey through awareness to follow the path to the soul.
I trained in the traditional yoga method of being under the tutelage of a seasoned teacher. I continued my studies earning my 200 hour certification. Thirsting for more knowledge, I enrolled in and achieved my 500 hour certification a couple of years later. As I endeavor to honour yoga by deepening my skill base, I’ve been a humble and grateful student of the talented and wise teachers near and far.

I instruct alignment-based, Hatha and Vinyasa style yoga as well as yoga nidra and restorative yoga. I offer workshops, retreats, group and private classes. I have worked with individuals dealing with body trauma and cancer recovery through asana practice, yoga nidra and meditation.
Believing that yoga should be accessible to every body, I offer various classes including: chair, gentle, beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. I care about my students and offer classes in a safe and non-competitive environment, allowing students to work at their individual level. I am an impassioned yogini and strive to deepen my personal practice, as well as the practice of those who step onto their mat.
Shining the light of awareness onto the dark places within, I believe yoga can liberate us from the fear and pain that hold us back from realizing and living our true nature.
I invite you to deepen your awareness and find your inner light.
